It's a "GM" (read Chevrolet) crate engine sold thru GMPD.

I've always said they called them ZZ because, like their other SBC 350 based brethren, they are so boring they'll put you to sleep. Dependable and reliable, yes, but unimaginative, the easy way out, and totally inappropriate for a "ClassicOldsmobile".

There's a guy selling a roller cam on ebay that says its for olds v8's 260-455. I asked him about it and he said its for a ZZ smallblock. I haven't taken a close look at an olds cam in a while but I thought it looked wrong. It has 3 bolts that hold the gear on and no lip on the first bearing journal.

GM makes a 350 ZZ4 motor, which is sold by GMPP. It's a hydraulic roller motor. The only hydraulic roller Olds V8's ever made were late model 307's. I bet that guy's mistaken...

Which is more positive proof that Chevy people should not try to sell Oldsmobile parts. Contrary to what they dogmatically believe and try to proselytize to you, it is NOT "all GM".
