I'm perplexed as to why the mechanical fuel pump is insufficient too. I bought an airtex brand from northwestern auto supply...think they'll take it back after its was installed?

Those mechanical fuel pumps are a b to put on. I was proud I myself for getting it on there. Now it's worthless!

I found a new gas tank and a sending unit reasonably priced at OPGI that I'm going to get to replace what I have on there. Hopefully this will be the end of the fuel issues!
