Need help identifying this line.
Comes off radiator and connects to heating element.

 

Look again. I bet it doesn't come from the radiator but instead from the A/C condenser in front of the radiator. That would make it a freon line for the A/C.

Yes, it's broken right off of the expansion valve, with the expansion valve appearing intact.

The end of the line can be replaced, or a whole new line can be purchased (which is probably a better idea and may end up costing the same).

If the A/C's broken anyway (which I would expect, or there would have been quite a cool blast of refrigerant when it broke), you can just wire it up out of the way until you recondition the system.

Would this cause me to have no heat? Probably a dumb question as I already know that it's a no... But I can't seem to figure out why I don't have heat?

 

Is the hot water valve on the right rear of the intake manifold connected and operating?
