Valve covers

Hey guys, I would like to use stock valve covers with Harland sharp rockers?

Is this possible? I really want the stock look.

Thanks in advance

Yes, I used a thicker gasket and it worked. You might try some grease or vaseline on top of your rockers, install the gasket and valve covers and then turn engine over by hand. If grease appears on the iside of the valve cover you need more clearance. I got the real good thick valve cover gaskets from Dick Miller and am very happy with them.

Are the baffles removed?

The baffles will probably have to be removed, and to keep oil from seeping out, I fabbed mini baffles in mine. Thick gaskets help, and to check for clearance just hold the cover on and have a friend turn the motor over, you'll hear a racket if the rockers are too close.
BTW, I run HS rockers.

I think I have a set of 425 valve covers that don't have baffles floating around here somewhere.
