Vacuum diagram meanings
I found this vacuum diagram on the internet explaining the general routing of the emissions control systems.
My 307 has been running rough and I've been thinking about redoing the vacuum lines, as a couple years ago, I kind of "got rid of" some of that stuff.
What I was wondering was, what are all those things? EAS? EAC? VDV?!
And where do I find whatever those are?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Buz
Note: Wrong picture uploaded anyway. Lol. Uploaded correct pic with notes on follow up response.

This is what I have found from MANY MANY MANY sources around the internet.
And as far as finding where to get the parts?.... That's another story.
Hope this helps, or if anyone would like to make corrections, please let me know.
Thanks,
Buz

Yes, I have had the Haynes for this car for as long as I've had the car; 11 years, but I find that it doesn't tell me all that much.
I've been doing more and more mechanical work on my 2 classics and I have the service manual for the Vista, and you're right, I will get the manual for the Custom Cruiser.
Do CCC's go bad often? I'm wondering if there are any ways to check it. The reason for all of this is that it's been idling rough. ={ I know there are tons of things that could be going bad.

The CCC system uses many sensors and miles of vacuum tubing, which do go bad over time. The computer itself is much less likely to fail.

Where did you find it Buz?.
I want schematic diagrams for a couple of 400ci Pontiacs. I will have to fabricate my own lines, no nipping down to NAPA for me!.

Most of the vacuum diagrams that look like that came out of one of the old Motor manuals (or something similar).
Many are posted on the AutoZone web site, but you need to go in through Google to find them.
