throttle linkage

The automatic throttle linkage on my 66 cutlass is real close to the wires for the HEI distributor,is there aftermarket linkage available or does somebody have a standard shift linkage for sale that would give more room. Thank you. Note: It is not the original transmission. Now it's a TH 350 and the motor is now a 350 cu in motor.

If you are still running the stock transmission, you may want to rethink this. Is your distributor clocked correctly?

OK, but so what? Is there a problem? If you're worried about wear on the wires, use a wire loom to hold them up.

A picture would help in trying to come up with a solution.
