Throttle bracket with Edelbrock Manifold

Hi guys, I have a 1971 Cutlass Supreme with a 350. It has a Performer RPM intake manifold from Edelbrock along with an Edelbrock 1411 carb. The throttle cable is all ghetto rigged right now (not connected to the bracket, jacket all frayed, no idea how it still works) and the cable bracket is bolted onto the carburetor stud and is not even parallel with the linkage. I'm wondering if any of you have a similar setup and are using the stock bracket? Does anyone have any pictures of their setup I could use for reference, or if anyone has any suggestions on aftermarket cables and brackets and how/where to mount that. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

It might depend upon what bracket you have. My 70 Supreme had a bracket with one mounting point at the drivers side rear carb bolt. The 71 has a bracket that spans the two rear mounting bolts on the carb so it is rigidly fixed and can't pivot as the 70 bracket did.

If you could post a picture of what your setup looks like you might get more replies. I have some leftover gadgets from my time installing cruise controls that may be of help but without a pic, I don't know.

This is what I'm using on my 71 98 with a Summit carburetor (Holley 4010).

I used an aftermarket bracket but had to cut and drill to make it fit right. I guess not everyone has that option, but it worked out for me.

I bought a bracket similar to what Olds 64 purchased last month, haven't installed it yet car is still in storage.
Here is the part number from my Summit account.

Here is a link to the Summit bracket. I bet it is even manufactured in the same place as the Jegs one, they just label it differently. I ordered from Jegs because they had some additional parts that Summit didn't have. Usually Summit is a few cents cheaper.

Here is another throttle plate that I was using. I changed to the new one because I thought it might be causing a vacuum leak.
