Speedpro 350 forged piston weight?
#2
I did on mine but not sure if I can find info its been a while. I had a weird old set that was mixed stock of the old old TRW number then the Speed Pro current one that was a mixed set of two stamped numbers and mis matched weights. All Pre Black Skirt era I think mine were 1980's stock. The weight was substantial though. I ended up lightening half the pistons down to match the lightest one within a gram or so. Did same thing on the rods

That is what I am hoping for, see if you can find the numbers. I have a 330 crank that was balanced for Speedpro .030" forged 18cc dish pistons, which are no longer made, on factory rods, I sold them years back. I plan to put it in my 403 block as the journals look really good and I am curious on how much different the weight will be vs stock bore 403 factory pistons. Anyone know factory 403 piston weight?

My thoughts exactly, the should be close to factory 403 pistons. The KB Hyper 6cc with pins are 832 grams without rings and pretty sure it something like 30 to 50 grams lighter than stock 403 pistons, I can't find who said that. It will be close enough.
