Source for EGR block off plate?

I am running two EGR manifolds with the valve deleted. I quite often cut the head off the EGR valves and fill but a plate looks better and have misplaced my spare valve. Edelbrock doesn't sell it seperate. Route 66 sells a custom one that looks right, they may not ship to Canada. Thanks.

Once again, Google is your friend.

$10 with gasket. This is from the GMC motorhome crowd. Guess what engine they use.

By the way, this same vendor sells the choke stove blockoff and the mechanical fuel pump blockoff.

I emailed both the sellers, hopefully they will respond or it will be plan B.

Or you can do what we did before you could buy block of plates, make your own out of flat stock.

That is plan B, cut a piece of flat sheet metal and spend a bunch of time to fit it nice or cut the head off the EGR valve, seal and we are good to go.

I think it took me all of 30 minutes to carve this out of a piece of scrap aluminum with a hacksaw and a drill. I used the gasket as a pattern. It isn't pretty but c'mon, it's an EGR block-off plate. It isn't sexy to begin with. It doesn't look so bad once the air cleaner is on.

Looks good. The guy from Joe's link contacted me. It has to be extra heavy duty for the mighty 260.

Mine is 3/16 inch thick. Should be robust enough for the massive mouse motor.
