Smog 307 7A heads

Yeah I know they suck and everything, so we don't need to go there.

In the process of getting my "Classic" tags and it's been very warm here for the past month (60's in December in Philly, very rare) so the day I get my plates, I want to pull off those pesky A.I.R. tubes and close the holes.

I was going to put bolts in there, just screw them in. What size do I need to do this? Any danger of them getting forced out?

Can you use pipe plugs? They should be shallow enough. It has been awhile since I have seen those, but I am thinking 1/2"? Hope not metric...
No danger of being forced out with pressure. If those fragile tubes did not blow up, then a plug wont...

Now are you ditching the computer? If not, you may rethink pulling the AIR tubes. I believe the O2 sensor needs the extra air to keep the system happy.

I used brass pipe plugs and haven't had a problem. I don't remember the size, so I just took the removed AIR tube and matched up a set at NAPA. Very inexpensive. I seem to remember 5/16", but don't quote me on that.

Keeping the PCM because I think it still controls all the idiot lights and even with the 330, I'm keeping all of them

I have 5/16" bolts at home. I bought them for the hitch installation and had extras. I think I have only 3, but if they fit, I'll pick up the other 5 (And the won't have to be grade 8 )

You CANNOT use bolts.
Pipe plugs would possibly thread in enough to work, but I still don't think they are the correct thread either.

Weld them up, or leave them be.
