slow and fast idle specifications

i have a 5.7 350 engine 4bb .. just want to make sure the fast and slow idle adjustments are correct ..for slow should be 600 rpm and that at fast it should be at 1100 rpm. This does sound about right? thanks

The factory specified different idle speeds depending on application: year, model, cam, transmission, etc.

That said, if your engine idles smoothly at 600 rpm, that's a good number. Likewise, if it runs good on fast idle at 1100 for the coldest temperature you ever encounter, then that's a good number. For most of my cars which have to run in the winter, I set the fast idle at ~1800 for the high step and ~1200 for the low step.
