slight mistake!
I have my rebuild all back together and found one slight problem. I apparently did not stall the oil slinger on the crank berfore installing front cover, because it is still sitting on the bench. I have noticed in my Edelbrock instruction guide for the 7800 series timing chain & gears series that you leave the slinger off for model 7820. I installed the 7813. I do not have the harmonic ballancer installed yet. looking in toward the crank it doesn't appear to be any room in there for the slinger. HOW IMPORTANT IS THE OIL SLINGER ON THE FRONT OF THE CRANK??? DO I TARE DOWN THE FRONT COVER AND PUT IT ON AT THIS POINT???
