S and J Engines?

Any body ever bought an engine from S and J Engines. Seems super reasonable….

Zero experience but looking at their website, be sure you are looking at Oldsmobile engines and not Chevy engines. Their page for "Cutlass" lists both. Interestingly the photos are correct in showing Olds vs Chevy. Prices seem too good to be true, so buyer beware. I know that just having a set of iron heads done at my preferred shop will cost over $1000 for a stock rebuild. Machining the block is probably $500 or more. Parts will run $1000 and up. Doesn't leave a lot for labor.

Like Joe said, the price is too good to be true. I would call them and verify. Ask if they are a member of the AERA. https://aera.org/

I just priced out a rebuild of a basically stock Chevy 350 truck motor and it was almost 4K I cant imagine doing an Olds for that price. I bet the parts alone to do it right would be well over $1000

Hard to say ?

Sounds like a "mail order bride" to me. Find someone local, at least in the same state.

Search Yelp for S and J Engines. Those evaluations are telling.

Gotta be a hefty freight charge to ship an engine from the state of Washington to Maryland!
