Question roller rockarms ticking

new engine rebuild drove one time roller rockarms ticking is that normal

Hope you used a zinc additive, and didn't wipe the cam!
With roller rockers, I believe you're supposed to also use oil restricted pushrods and guideplates!?!?!
Re-adjust - if it happens again, cut open your oil filter and look for metal.
If it's there, you get to start over!

I have rollers on my 350 with the guideplates and oil restricted push rods. They do tick lightly though. It took a while to get used to it. Have someone check them just to be safe.

x2 with cutlassjoe mine tick slightly nothing major just compnents moving doing their job. id be alarmed if it got worse check your oil and if nothing changes noise wise you are fine. Mine have sounded the same since the first start up
