rocker arm adjustment/ new lifters?

I'm new guys so take it easy. My 56 Olds 88 rocket motor has a lifter clacking. I also noticed that the pushrod isn't rotating like all the rest. I've been told by the local gearheads that it has to be oil not flowing or allowing that lifter to expand. I understand that. So my question is, first, can I try and adjust this rocker arm, or is that a waste of time? And secondly, should I replace all the lifters or just that one, since the intake manifold is already off?
Thanks in advance, Michael

First, there is no ajustment, unless you have after market rockers.
Second, you should replace all the lifters. I don't think anybody sells just one lifter.
These must be the original lifters, I'm sure they are wore out. I'll bet the oil is pretty dirty.
Your best bet is to take both rocker shafts off and take apart to do a total clean up. Also with the distributor out, With a drill run the oil pump to make sure oil is at all the lifter bores. If it was up to me I would pull the oil pan and clean out the crap in the pan and shim the oil pump spring, or even put a new pump on.

Gene,
Thanks for the info. I haven't looked yet, but can I pull the pan and change the oil pump without pulling the engine? Thanks Michael
