Rochester Dualjet 210

When the Cutlass is cold, the idle is very, very high.

Is there a adjustment for this? Something I could bypass like the choke pull-off?

Yes, there is an adjustment for fast idle. The car ran fine when new with all the equipment connected, so why do you think you need to bypass anything? Fix it correctly. Be sure the choke is working properly. Be sure the linkage isn't sticking. After that, adjust the fast idle screw per the CSM directions. You need to adjust it with a specific configuration of the screw on a certain step on the fast idle cam.

Bypassing was just a quick fix idea.

Looking through the manual now.

Thanks Joe.

i have this same carb on my 260 (i too am having issues with.) but fyi there is a fast idle screw kinda hidden. i believe it is facing toward the fire wall of the car. (opposite of the regular idle screw) under the throttle body. hope that helps.
