Recommendations for building a low buck 350

Hey Guys, I want to build a 350 for my 84 Hurst. I'm not really familiar with what brands support the Olds motors well. Thought I'd ask and see what people use to make some horse power on a budget. The 350 I've found is a 71. Thanks Jackson

What is your budget and goals? Without changing pistons, you will have stay very mild on cam selection, factory is around 8 to 1 compression. I assume you are planning on a complete rebuild on a 50 year old motor? Are you keeping the factory CCC system? Mahle 10cc and DSS 12cc are some modern forged pistons that will give low to mid 9's for compression with your #7 heads. Cam will depend on what manners you want, along with keeping or dumping the CCC system. Good luck.
