Radiator bushing question

Replacing my radiator, and looking for the correct bushing.

The old bushing looks like this, with the "pin" pretty far off center:

But all the new poly-bushings I can find looks like this, with the pin closer to the middle:

Are they the same? Is it just my eyes (and picture) playing a trick on me?

The part# on my old crumbling, greasy bushing is 371922.

What year/model of car is this for? I agree, they don't look like the correct ones. Hopefully someone here can provide a source for the correct ones. If not, you might be able to cut off the pin, use some adhesive and bolt everything down. Once the radiator is in there and bolted down that will put pressure on keeping them in place. But the factory made the pin for a reason, you'd want to check them once in a while to see if the vibrations of driving caused them to move. John

The car in question is 79' Cutlass Cruiser. Was also thinking of cutting the pin off, but then again - there for a reason.

I've drilled and bolted many a bracket, over the years, and trimmed many a cushion, without any problems.
I usually use weatherstrip adhesive, without the ill fitting 'nubs'.

Well spoken sir. I'll just order the polys, trim and glue them down.

There is just some part of me that has become obsessed with doing things by the book after witnessing what horrible short cuts people take fixing their cars (especially a fairly large crowd of the american car enthusiasts here in Norway). Also true of my car when I got it, and I'm hell bent on doing it right when I'm at it!

Rant over

371922 was the GM part number in the 77-81 Cutlass catalog, now discontinued. If you were doing a "money no object" 100 point restoration, there are a few dealers showing stock on the locator. But weatherstrip adhesive will be fine, I've done that myself.
