QJet Base Gasket

Greetings!

For a QJet 4 bbl carb on an Edelbrock Performer intake which has the spread bore, should I be using an adapter plate or just the thick Felpro base gasket? I'm using the Felpro now but am having a vacuum leak but think it's due to a bad gasket. Was wondering what others are doing?

Just a spread bore base gasket is all you need.

Yes, just the spread bore gasket. I use the style with the hard plastic inserts at the boltholes so I don't over tighten it.

They are reasonably priced as well. $10 maybe?
