PVC Valve Substitute

Hey all, a nice easy question for ya'll. Didn't even consider the PCV valve when ordering parts, but fortunately the Edelbrock Signature Series comes with the openings. My question is do I need to buy a specific PCV valve or will a breather on one side and a breather with a nipple for the vacuum hose hooked up to the carb perform the same purpose? Is that overkill, will just that and an oil fill plug work?
Attached is the breather with the nipple.
Thanks for the clarification.

If your valve covers come with openings for the PCV and breather then I suggest you run a PCV valve. This should be the PCV valve you need:

Thanks for the reply. Called Edelbrock, which I should have done before ordering the part. Oh well another extra part laying around. Thanks again all.
