Power steering pump

Hello classicoldsmobile world new here to the forum and I need help I been having issues with my power steering system on my 1972 Oldsmobile f85/cutlass I started it up and I heard a whining noise belt ripped off so I replaced it but then after replacing the belt I kinda hear a whining noise still so drove it around to test it and all a sudden my pressure hose blew and power steering pump dipstick melted at the tip so I assumed the pump was bad I replaced it and I noticed the whining noise is still there a bit and my new pressure hose still getting pretty hot than usual so I replaced it again since iv heard a lot of refurbished PS pumps are bad and I found metal in the reservoir when I replaced it again but with the second PS pump still overheating and hose is really hot and still hear a whining noise any suggestions ? Been on this for about a week maybe another faulty pump ?
