Petronix in a 215

Has anyone with a 215 used these ignition/distributor setups? If so what did you think?

Thanks,
Al

There's nothing magic about the 215 as far as converting to a Pertronix. It's a Delco window distributor, just like any other. As with all electronic conversions, don't expect to see any difference between the Pertronix and a properly maintained set of points.

I converted my 215 using a different brand that is similar to Pertronix and had no problems. I did it for laziness, not for any performance improvement (plus the original 50 year old coil was questionable).

Thanks Joe. I don't know about points, so this might be an upgrade for me.
