after changing the water pump to a flokool,new mr gas 180 hf stat, 3row rad from the zone,and a electric fan, i let the car idle today and it held steady at 185 190, dont know for sure if its fixed because it only heated up on highway. so my ? is were do i go from here if its not fixed, and is that a good temp for a fresh rebuild

 

The new 3 row radiator should have fixed the issue.
Running 190 isn't too bad. That's more of an emissions motor temp in my opinion though. I run mine at about 160.

 

Verify mixture and timing is correct, as well as correct advance at cruise.
Also, the block could be partially plugged up with crap. When was the last time the block was power flushed with a hose with the block drain plugs removed?
180-190 is okay by be. 195-210 is emissions temp (what the caddy runs at).
