Original Engine Paint Color On 1948 Deluxe 66?
New member here since I just inherited a 1948 Deluxe 66 Woody Wagon. Restoring it from frame up.
Not sure if I should post the question on engine paint here or in Paint forum. The woody has the inline 6 cyclinder. Trying to research the original engine block color (and the original transmission color for the Hydromatic as well).
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sure you will get an answer. I have two 48 model 68 woodies - One is a work in progress, the other in storage. I would love to converse with you during our adventure and share experience - especially on the wood restoration. My wood is very rough and will have to be manufactured from scratch, but I will have patterns when I take it apart. Look at the above forum. I have several postings.
