Omega Heater Hose Replacement

I have a 1977 Omega, and I am working my way thru the coolant system. Iwas planning on replacing the heater hoses as well, but the firewall access to one of the hoses is not evident. I was wondering if anyone has pulled the heater hoses off an old omega, and provide any advice?

Thanks
hardgreg

If it's the same as a 77 Nova, the hoses are clamped on the end of the heater core tubes. Remove the clamps and you may have to cut the old hoses off.

Like Eric said, cut them off with a knife exacto works gd . By the time I was done pulling and trying to twist mine off it was too late. Yup the heater core started to leak after I put the new hoses on. Then oh what a job putting the new heater core in.

Does it have AC?if so i think the inner fenderwell is in the way and may have to be removed,be carefull when removing the clamp and hose or you will be replacing the heater core, cut the hose off after clamp removal.
