Welcome to the site, the bracket can be modified to bolt in place and there are throttle linkage adaptor kits available at your local auto parts store to attach the cable.

Welcome aboard.
I'd just ditch the EGR valve. What year car and engine? 75 and newer?

Remove it unless needed for your local emissions laws. You will probably still need a spacer to clear the EGR block off plate, I did with a Holley. Can always use a generic bracket and maybe cable too.

Yes. Just fabricate a block off plate for it. Can't be a 68-73 350 though because they never had EGR. Has to be at least 74-76

You can make a block off plate with just a piece of sheet metal cut to fit and bolt it on. Then you wont have to worry about interference.

It's the original 350 block the car was built with. The intake manifold came from a later 75 Cutlass. The stock 2 bbl intake is in the shed with it's 2GC carb. The 75 intake was used because at the time it's what I had.

re: Blue rocket. The 455 was blue from 1970-1976. Prior to 70 it was red. After 1976 there was no rocket 455. The biggest engine in 77 was the 403. For 1970 - 1976 the Olds 350 was gold.
