Oil pan remove

Oil pan remove

When i change the sealing on my oilpan is it possible without removing the engine? 1966 330 f85 thank you very much

Yes, it is possible, no it is not easy. You must get the engine jacked up high and I hate laying under the car doing this.

Hmm, I did expect that. So I have a reason to remove the engine! Thank for your quick response.

Yes and if single exhaust the cross over pipe needs to come off and then some flange bolts will probably snap....better to pull engine!

Now THAT is the kind of attitude I like!

Might As Well get the engine compartment all cleaned up while you're at it.
