Oil leak help.
72 CS 350 stock. Don’t have a lift available but thought someone might suggest a source from similar indications.
Leak on pavement is collecting slightly in front of oil filter. Maybe directly under front part or slightly ahead of filter.
checked tightness of filter it seems plenty tight. Thinking maybe the oil filter housing gasket , but no real idea. Sound familiar to anyone. Plan on taking to a guy with lift and thought I might suggest or steer him to possible source. Thanks.
Mike.

Purchase a small bottle of engine oil fluorescent dye at any local automotive store where you can also purchase a small black-light pen-light (both are going to run you $10-$15. Add the dye to your oil, run the engine and visualize location of the oil leak.

Going for the Pax Side valve cover. Seeing some smoke while engine running coming from gasket area. Plus looks wet underneath. Got it off but lower rear and forward bolts PIA. Any techniques or proper tool suggestion for the reinstall of these two bolts. Better to ask experts here than to go through the knuckle gymnastics I used to take them off Thanks.
