Does anyone happen to know the Diameter of the OAI Filter Lid. The one I have seems small, it does not fully cover the filter.

Make sure you have the correct style air FILTER....it's supposed to be a thinner/narrower filter compared to "traditional" filters. A366C is the AC Delco number....this is specific to OAI cars.

Thanks for the reply, I will double check that. Would still like to know the diameter of an original lid, if someone knows it or can measure one for me.

Just measured a NOS OAI inner lid and it measured 13 1/4" and the filter width is approx. 7/8. Hope this helps.

Perfect, that is what I needed to know. I am getting ready to media blast, and repaint. Did not want to go through all that if it was wrong. It appears to be as Patton's comment and your measure confirm, the wrong air filter was installed sometime in the past.
Now to find the right one. I see Rockauto has WIX 42102 as a replacement.
What other filter brands are people using?

Wix is a good filter. The ACDelco units are overpriced in my opinion. Fram quality is not great.
