MSD 8566 for the Street
I have acquired an brand new MSD ignition set for dirt cheap. Includes wires, Blaster 2 coil, 6AL box, and all the required parts to convert an HEI to an external coil. I have had a brand new 8566 (no vacuum advance) sitting on the shelf. This is the only distributor I have. Should I run the 8566 or just use this kit with an HEI distributor?
I just finished doing a gasket job on a mostly stock 71 350 (headers, performer intake and a modified Qjet) and will be putting it in my 83 H/O. All street, daily driver. CCC system will be removed. Your advice is appreciated.

Have same msd setup self with the 5688 disturbutor,(not installed yet) it should be easyest to use the 5688 if u have it,instead to use the convert kit.
send me a message or post here if you are happy with the msd setup. sounds very simple to use with perfect ignition timing.
