Misfire help

Misfire help

So I got an 81 cutlass with a 76 350 in it and it’s got a little miss so I did plugs wires a cap and rotor I tried adjusting the timing and adjusting the air fuel ratio and still nothing took care of it no matter what it still had just a little bit of a miss anyone have any ideas what to check next

Triple check the firing order. Set the ignition timing and then move the timing light pickup to each plug wire while watching the flash. If the flash interrupts consistent with the misfire, that cylinder has an ignition problem.

When using the timing light was the timing mark steady or did it seem to bounce around some? If the timing mark was not steady, it generally indicates a worn timing set.
