Question lean adjustment stop

On my q-jet I have an exposed lean adjustment stop (the plug is gone) SEE PIC (circled on bottom) Where or how should this be adjusted. My carb was rebuilt and needed to be tuned from scratch. I know I need the Doug Roe book. Please please please, any info will be greatly appreciated.

It is on an 81 olds 98regency. My idle has a slight shake like a misfire but I just did a complete tune up yesterday and replaced everything. I have a feeling that it is a misadjusted carb.
