Leaky oil pressure sending unit

My sending unit is leaking oil out of the top, right where the wire attaches...this past summer I replaced one that was doing the same thing. Is this common? Is there a better product ( the one I have now was just bought at the local AutoZone) available? 1968 350 by the way....
Thanks!

Not to contradict Ozoneblue, but I put in a Borg Warner unit about 9 years ago and no problems yet.
There is also a special socket to take it out, it is not a 6 or 12 point. Let me know if you need to borrow mine.
