Intake manifold
#2
If your question is about the intake manifold, the answer is no. In 1966, the main difference between Calif cars and 49 state cars is the A.I.R. system (aka, the smog pump). A.I.R. used injector pipes that attached to tapped holes in the heads. There were a couple of vacuum connections to the intake as part of this system, but the threaded holes for those were on all 1966 intakes. They were simply plugged if not used.
