I have 2 new build in the works

So it's been a busy holiday season for me. Lets start off with the 362. I was in a bit of a bind and needed some cash I had a 455 that was very stout sitting on the engine shelf. I called member f-85 and we struck a cash and trade deal. What i eneded up with was a 362 olds that was ran in hobby stock. It had 7 heads that have been milled and have 2 in. intake valves i still have to measure them to get exact size. The engine was frshened up before hand. The only thing im doing is changing the camshaft and adding a double roller timing chain and having a edelbrock rpm intake milled to fit that set up. This is the one that will get worked on first. It's more or less a over time project as my 355 is ready to go and im excited to see how she runs. Now the second set up i got is really nice and it was FREE and from member z11375ss I have not measured the bore size yet but it's a 350 with what appears to be cp pistons with valve relifes, with stressed relived rods with arp bolts. I was told it has less than 1000 miles and it is very clean it has a 4 speed crank . My game plan is to have it rebalanced with the proper flexplate as he raa flywheel for his 4 speed im going to add new rings and if the bearing are fine thats about it. Sincwe this build will require a bit more cash than the 362 i might put the procomp heads on it. I am going to add a diffrent cam as well. But i now had some nice starting points for future builds. the 362 will be fired up on a run stand in the near future with the iron intake that it came with as that was needed to run in the hobby stock class. Im pretty excited about these but like always it comes down to time and money . I cant thank z11375ss enough for the parts he gave me .

Yea, Jim is one of the nicest guys I have ever met from this forum. Pleasure to visit him every time. Usually I like the car more than the owner, but not in his case.
