Hooker 3901HKR headers
Just a quick note to anyone wondering about these headers. The fit is very good no clearance issues on my 1970 with a 350. In the instructions it says the car must be at least 3' in the air to install the passenger side, if you remove the trans cooler lines it will go just having it up on jack stands. On the drivers side there is a heat shield on the motor mount, if you change your mount leave it off, they won't clear it. The rear bolts on the drivers side are very tight, I reccomend starting the rearmost bolt then slipping the flange over it, then put one in the front, leave them both a little loose, then put the second from the rear in. After that you are golden.

When I was cleaning everything up today I noticed the instruction sheet that I had was for the big block headers. I looked up the correct instructions today and it doesn't mention the 3' clearance for the small block just a FYI. It also doesn't mention the need to disconnect the trans lines but I just could not get the header past mine, maybe they were replaced with some oddly bent lines or something. Once I disconnected them from the trans the header slipped in with no issue. Good luck with your install.
