Just put in a new Quadrajet carb in my 1974 Delta 88 with a 350 and as soon as it starts it idles really high . My uncle suggested a vacuum leak , my cousin may have put the wrong lines to the ports on the carb PCV valve etc . Does anybody know or have a picture to where all the lines should go ? Thanks

 

Is the choke engaged?

 

Most likely. Also, the fast idle speed screw was set to Weed Wacker levels on my Q-jet replacement.
