Help identifying a part.
I broke this port/ sensor when I was hosting my motor. I snapped it off the intake manifold. I tried searching for it at work and can not find it. Is it two parts in one? I can find the vacuum port switch. But what is the electrical part on top?

Olds started using that in 1971. It combines the TVS and TCS functions of 1970. I'm not sure what they called it. Someone else will post here and tell you and whether replacements are available. NOS would cost a fortune.

Yes, that switch is the early attempt at reducing emissions. It prevents distributor vacuum advance until the engine is up to operating temperature and the transmission is in high gear. While this reduces emissions, it also reduces performance. Do as dc2x4drvr posted; save some money and let your engine perform better.

It's called the TCS switch. Write up in the 71 or 72 CSM covers it. Used on both 350 and 455 engines those years. This part is not reproduced. I have spares out in the shed. I could be talked out of one of them for the right price.

2 things:
1. Use some penetrating fluid and soak the base of the TCS (gently tap the base area to help it sink in)
2. Heat the intake around the TCS, don't heat the TCS. It should break loose fairly easily this way.
