HEI distributor replacement weights

I was cleaning things up getting ready to start my engine up after I pulled it to reseal things and noticed the weights on my distributor appear to be wallowed out into ovals a bit:

I have heard people on hear mention this can cause issues with timing. Does this look bad enough to worry about? If so, what is a good source for factory weight weights? I see many of the recurve kits come with weights. Are they all factory weight or good enough? Not looking to change my timing. Just want it to be running how it's supposed to.

Mr. Gasket had an HEI kit, that distributor must have a lot miles on it. There should be nylon bushings at those pivot points.

The weights in the aftermarket kits are different than the originals and will likely change the timing significantly. Factory weights have a number stamped on them, so check to see what yours are and maybe you can locate a replacement pair.
