Head gasket question

Head gasket question
I've finished building the short block for my SBO stroker engine and have started working on to the top end. I'm using some ProComp aluminum heads and I noticed that one of the water jacket holes in the head gasket doesn't have a corresponding hole drilled in the block. There is a cooling passage hole in the head, but not in the block. Is this a problem? Should I drill a hole in the block to match the head gasket?
No hole in the block.
Should I drill a hole in the block to match the gasket?
The head has a cooling passage hole to match the gasket.

I am pretty sure there are always a few cooling ports that don't line up. I might throw the Corteco head gaskets on my 403 block to see how it lines up. Unless someone more knowledgable chimes in leave it alone.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had a set of '72 7a heads in the garage and they had the same "extra" hole as the ProComps. I did some web surfing and found lots of pics of Olds blocks in various states of rebuild; none of them had this hole drilled in the block. So I decided to leave well-enough-alone and started assembling last night. I'll post up some pics in my engine build thread.
