Front seal leaking

Noticed a couple of drops of oil under my car yesterday. So, when I got home I got under the car and noticed a good stream of oil running down from behind the balancer.

My question is: has any one used the seal saver from Fel-Pro? I am assuming the problem is the harmonic balancer has a groove in its and tearing the seal.

Thoughts?

Could be torn or like many of our cars, there just not driven enough and the seal dries out. Pull the balancer and look for a groove. If there is one, then get one of those sleeves from felpro and replace the seal in the front cover.

I have used those a few times in the past and they worked every time.

Mine is a daily driver. Now, the seal might have dried out "in the box" since it was open and sitting inside the car for a few months before I assembled it...but the car has been in daily use for 2-3 months and it just started leaking (at least noticeably) yesterday.
