Fixed noise finally

Finally found the god awful noise that had been keeping me from driving my car. The Exhaust crossover plugs that someone installed did a horrible job I guess. They were not even close to fitting and one had blown up into the manifold. I took them out and it sounds great now. Just need to get it tuned up good. Hope I can get some decent power out of her.

As I first read the thread title, I thought this was about leaving your wife

Hahaha. Now will be onto trying to figure out why my driveshaft seems to have been rubbing on the floor by the transmission

Wrong trans mount, or frame is bent up from improper jackingwhere the trans cross member mounts, or body mounts completely sacked or frame where the mounts go is rotted, also if your car has been hit the body could be shifted to one side on the frame. My car was hit in the rear before i owned it. It shifted the body slightly on theframe and as the rear suspension cycled thru its travel i would get an intermittent rub on the DS.
