I have a manual with distributor specs but they are all listed by distributor number (there are 6 different numbers) so I don't know which is the one you need.

You can check it on a bench with simple tools. PM me and later tonight I can explain how.

distributor

Unfortunately it is currently installed in my car. I just converted over to a 4 BBL and bumped my initial from 7 to around 14-15 degrees, which made a night and days difference for the better. Guesstimate as the balancer is stock with a stock timing tab.

Now trying to figure out total timing with mech adv kicked in, as I don't have an adjustable timing light.

Thanks

Clean up the balancer and put duct tape on it then let's say your tab goes from 0 to 10 you out your line at 0 and mark ten then put that line you just made on 0 and mark another line at 10. Then do it again now you have marked 40 degrees into your balancer split it in half and out small lines and that's 5 degrees.. poor mans timing tape
