Factory choke mechanism bolt

As title states my father has a 66 Olds Cutlass with the 330 4bbl Rochester. I just had the carb rebuilt and put it back on the car. He had a edelbrock on it. I was going to put the choke mechanism on the intake manifold but he lost the bolt. Any idea what size and pitch the bolt is? I have tried 1/4 inch 20 coarse but it only goes in about half turn. A 1/4 fine does not go in. Does not make any sense that it is metric??

Thanks,
Derek

Ok thanks you sir. I’ll have to find one. I am in FL at my fathers and he does not have any thread chasers.

He doesn’t have any either. I have a set in NJ. I’ll grab one tomorrow from a store down here.

Put a little never seize on the threads of the replacement bolt and run it in and out a couple of times.

I forgot to update thread. It is 1/4 - 20. I sprayed some PB blaster into the threaded hole and let it sit for a couple of hours. New bolt went right in with no problem.

Thanks,
Derek
