Exhaust Manifolds

Hello:

Can the exhaust manifolds be painted and if so what product can be used to withstand the heat?

Thanks

I have used the high temp cast iron, and work great.

Eastwood's high temp cast iron gray is great paint. I put mine on 12+ years ago and it still looks nearly new.

In fact, I just ordered a new quart because I'm about to go through the 403 in my '79 Trans Am... I want those manifolds to look as nice as the ones in my convertible.

I usually have them ceramic coated. It costs more but within 5 min you can put a hand on them and they lower under hood temps. I am new here but I have many cars. Works real good on headers also.
