engine info 71 350

can anyone tell me what the 7#s on the oil fill tube are for (1368509) and does anyone have pics. of the vin# stamped on the block? thanks for any help!!

I can't answer your question about the oil fill tube numbers, but here's a thread that will help you find the vin number stamped on your block.

That's the engine unit number and the 1 indicates 1971, but the rest is just a sequential build number, not serial number. I do not think it will provide any other info than that.
