edelbrock 3711 doesn't fit

Hello all,

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but....
When I try to install my new 3711 on my 350 (1975) it doesn't fit.
I can get the bolts in on one side or the other.... but not on both sides...
HELP

click "go advanced" you should have the option to upload a picture, you might have to lower the resolution of the image to the required dimensions though, use microsoft word or something to do that then save the file locally.

What are the casting numbers between the water pump and the manifold.

The BBO manifold is wider than a SBO

My 3711 did not fit when I used the end rubber gaskets. My heads were milled .010, but the bolts were not even close to lining up. I used RTV all the way around and I had no problems.

Take out the rubber end gaskets and silicone the ends. I had the same problem.

THANKS !!!!!!
it seems to be the problem.
I think the new head gasket I installed is a tiny bit thicker than the old one.
