Dual Exhaust on 307
Hello!
I apologize if this has already been addressed in another thread, I don't use this site that often. I see videos on youtube of guys doing dual exhaust on their '80-'85 Olds Delta 88. Do they actually make a kit for that, I thought they had to be fabricated and I've been underneath several times trying to figure out the best way to snake the dual-side pipe on the passenger side, but the problem is that cut out is only big enough to allow one pipe through, and obviously the floors are at different levels.
Any of you guys done duals yourselves, if so how did you go about doing it?
Thanks, any help is appreciated!
Mike

Although its a pontiac its a b body. On my dads 77 pontiac bonneville we made our own down pipes and we notched and welded the crossmember. From the cross member back we used the exhaust kit for a 95 impala ss with very little triming.

You can modify your cross member if you've access to a welder (person or machine
) but if you're strictly bolt on there are universal cross members in the after market like

that make installation a breeze. Although for the price, you might be as well to look into welder services in your area.
