Hey everyone, thought id reach out here to the community as you guys have been a huge help over the years with the Oldsmobile projects ive taken on. Im working on a 64' Olds Cutlass , Automatic, with a 1970 Olds 350 motor, stock exhaust manifolds. Car has duals on it now, but. . . .its time to freshen up the situation, with that said, it starts up front with the down pipes, ive looked here & there and seem to be coming back to these down pipes from a company called Pypes. I see they list them for 68-72, i didnt see any for the early 64's, if so, my bad, i completely missed it. Just looking for a little feedback from those that have tackled this project, and what has worked best for you regarding fitment. Part numbers would be greatly appreciated if provided. Thanks again, for any and all help, hope some of you get momma out in the Olds for mothers day!! Take care everyone, safe travels.
I know from what I have read on here is the 64 frame rails are more narrow and that causes problems. That is probably why you can't find them. I would look for a local muffler shop to fabricate them.
Great to hear Joe, and thanks everyone for jumping in to comment, very much appreciated! I always like to exhaust all options on the table before having someone else turn wrench on my projects, try my best to tackle everything on my own or with the guidence from the old man when possible. Have a great rest of your weekend everyone. I'll leave this screenshot here, off pypes website, to the ones i was referring to, for fitment on the 64' Olds Cutlass.
