Today I took off the intake manifold to see why the choke was never opening and to see why the engine was blowing smoke from under the manifold.

What I found was that on the passengers side, the tube makes a turn towards the drivers side for about an inch and has broken off. Also, there is a hole on the drivers side of the manifold. It looks like it was made at the factory.

1. What is that hole? Is it related to the automatic choke?
2. Where can I get a new choke tube?

BTW, this is on a 1957 Olds 98 with a 371 Rocket.
